The Great Archive, standing
Walk among the names we keep
Every plaque in this hall is one life the house keeps. Drag to look. Walk on with the arrows or your keyboard. Touch a name and its story opens. In a headset, step inside.
Drag to look · arrows to walk · tap a name to read · the VR button opens it in a headset
What stands here
The hall is drawn from the Archive's own live record the moment you open it, so it holds exactly the names the house holds today, no more and no fewer. The wings follow the Archive's own map of the world, with Alkebulan first. Portraits appear only where the Archive already publishes one.
Nothing here is invented. Each plaque leads to the written life it stands for.
In a headset
On a Meta Quest, open this page in the headset's browser and press Enter VR inside the hall. The left stick walks, the right stick turns, the trigger opens a name, the grip closes it. No app, no account, no store.
Works on Quest 2, 3 and 3S, and on any browser that speaks WebXR. On a phone or laptop the hall still turns and walks; it simply stays on the screen.
What comes later
Rooms captured by stewards on an ordinary phone, a kitchen, a porch, a pew, will stand beside this hall in their own time. Places, never people. The family decides what is shown.
